First Lesson In Craps: Don't throw dice off the table...

There were a few things I forgot to mention in my previous post about our latest Vegas trip. One of them was that it was the second time I tried my hand at craps. Like the first, I threw one of the dice off the table by accident. Whoops :) Unlike the first time, I actually won and figured out a bit how to play.

I basically just bet $10 on the pass line, rolled a 6, bet $30, and ended up rolling a 6 again after a few roles. Was pretty fun but man you can loose money quick if you don't know what's going on. Even when you do, the Casino always has the advantage, though, from what I understand, playing on the pass line and using the largest bet multiplier on the table (usually 3-5x) gives you the best odds over time. I only played it one round. Grabbed up my winning and then went to play BlackJack :) Still, maybe next time I'll end up playing it a bit more. Seems like a really fun game!
