Here’s a few notable frames from my roll of 35mm Delta 100. I didn’t quite get the results I was looking for in many of the other photos. Primarily I still can’t seem to figure out how to use a red filter to get the supposed super dark skies. I think it has to do with perhaps my camera’s on-board light meter compensating too much for the filter. I have a hand-held light meter in the mail I’m going to start using. It’s moreso for my Mamiya 645 and my Intreprid 4×5 I’m (slowly) putting together. But I think in this case it may help since I can use the lightmeter to expose the scene normally and then compensate for the red filter (rather than metering with the red filter in place). I think (I hope) that may help produce the look I want.
All of these are without the red filter, but turned out well. Delta 100 itself is a lovely film and I’m looking forward to trying it out on my 645 next chance I get!
